Milang Old School House Community Centre

Co-winner of the Australian Adult Learning Community of the Year in 2007
The Milang Old School House Community Centre places much focus on capacity building within the local community. It is recognised for its leadership and provides a wide range of activities that are designed to build skills, confidence, well being and connections to the 900 residents of Milang, Clayton and their surrounding districts in South Australia. Programs range from recognised learning programs such as Certificate 4 courses in areas like small business management, through to activity based courses such as CLANG – Making Music Together’ where community singing and music-making with percussion instruments allow participation at local events and engage those who might not otherwise become involved in learning.
